STATUTORY COMMITTEEIf we compare Statutory Committee with the state bodies, it can be viewed as Constitutional Court in the party structural system. Similar structure is a novelty in political parties` structure in Armenia.
The party Statutory Committee examines the compliance of decisions made by other party structures with the party Program or Charter. In case these decisions with the exception of Congress decisions contradict to the party Program or Charter, they will be suspended by the Statutory Committee.
The Statutory Committee is authorized to make comments and clarifications as to the separate provisions in the Charter and Program.
The sessions of the Statutory Committee are open.
The decisions of
the Statutory Committee are final and subject to mandatory implementation. Therefore, party appropriate body has to
bring its previous decision in compliance with the Committee decision. |
