In September 2009 MIAK central office organized training on ''Youth Participation in Electoral Process''.The training was conducted by science candidate and elections specialist MIAK member Atom Mkhitaryan. The training aroused great interest and received positive reflection amongst MIAK members.

 

As a result, it was decided to organize similar training for MIAK members in the marzes. The first marz seminar was organized on March 21st in the newly opened MIAK office in Ashtarak. During the seminar a lecture on the electoral process was delivered followed by a film on elections. After discussions the 18 participants filled out questionnaires.

 

After concluding the results MIAK members who passed the minimum required score received certificates. It should be noted that the next day MIAK Secretary General Ara Hovsepyan along with other members also visited the regional office.
