On March 6th under the  patronage of  Ara Hovesepyan,  the MIAK Secretary General, MIAK initiated a table tennis championship for its members. The championship took place in the Yerevan "Hayastan" sports association. The chief coach of  the Armenian Table Tennis Federation and the country's Honoured Coach Felix Sargsyan helped the players during of the contest.  The contest became a tense and active struggle after which the  winners received prize certificates.

The winner of the first prize was MIAK member Vazgen Gevorgyan from Yerevan, according to whom the sport event created a  positive ground for team work and strengthened the links between team members. The chief coach of Armenian Table Tennis Federation said, "I welcome such events, which show that  young people in the organization have a healthy spirit. To tell you the truth, it's not often  that I see political parties organizing sport events.  Today I have noticed a few strong players among the young men. In a nutshell, I think this political party is a healthy one. I also wish that these young people participate in political life since I can see that they are full of life. If the political party is healthy then the situation with sport is also optimistic."

Sport is an important component in MIAK members life. It is planned to hold billiards and chess championships for MIAK members in the near future.
