The "Cooperation for Development" youth NGO, Federation of Youth Clubs of Armenia and "Yerevan Youth Bank" (a project of Eurasia Partnership Foundation) have jointly organized a two day training-seminar devoted to Armenian-Turkish relations and the Karabakh conflict.

 

25 young people of different professions representing various universities and organizations were selected on a competitive basis to participate in the training. MIAK was represented by Amalya Balabekyan. The training was conducted by Rouben Safrastyan the Director of Oriental Studies Institute of RA National Academy of Sciences, Samvel Martirosyan an expert on Information Safety Issues, Salpi Ghazarian Director of the Civilitas foundation and historian Souren Manoukyan.

 

The main purpose of the training was to raise the awareness level pf young people on significant national issues and to pass them information on the Karabakh struggle and Armenian-Turkish relations.
