Archive On February 24th 2010 a round table discussion was organized in the city of Goris in Syunik marz | 24.02.2010 
The purpose of the meeting was to set up a dialogue on the issues of public significance between the heads of local communities. This comprised city mayors and women-voters discussing political programmes and the accountability of local authorities.
During the discussion MIAK member Alisa Elyazan who is the head of the "Syunik Human Rights and Consulting Centre" NGO talked about the role of women in the democratic electoral process with the idea of conducting an observation mission in Syunik region by local women.
During the discussion women received information on local government election process as well as presenting their own observations.
