Archive MIAK held its final meeting for 2009 | 19.12.2009 
On December 19th in the
meeting room of the "Metropol" hotel MIAK
held its final meeting for 2009. Around
100 delegates were present from the MIAK governing bodies and regional branches from almost all the marzes and
cities where MIAK has representation.
The prupose of the meeting was to sum up the results of the year, define future action and discussing the upcoming programmes. Ara Hovsepyan, the Secretary General, made the opening speech. He presented the peculiarities of the MIAK ideology, the main principles of the MIAK workstyle and the achievements of the past year. Levon Martirosyan, the Secretary, addressed MIAK`s past, present and future. In his speech he focused on many questions and answers. Being a key speaker, he gave a detailed analysis of the most important party issues and their solutions. Gerasim Barsegyan, the Party Secretary, spoke about the priorities of the MIAK ideology, Armenia-Turkey relations and geopolitical developments. Naira Karapetyan, the MIAK Secretary, addressed the issues of international cooperation and public relations of MIAK. She made a detailed presentation of MIAK activities conducted jointly with other parties both in Armenia and abroad. Naira also spoke about public relations implementation for the development programmes. The speeches made by the Heads of the MIAK regional branches reflected upon a number of issues. These were followed by an active and effective discussion as a result of which the programmes for the coming year were defined.
The meeting was concluded with
a speech from Vahan Babayan, who congratulated everybody for the upcoming 2010
and wished everybody great success.
