MIAK
Founding Congress that took place in Marriott Armenia
hotel on February 18 was attended by the delegates from Yerevan and a number of Armenian marzes. The Congress decided to found United Liberal
National Party, adopted the party Charter and approved its Program. The party’s governing bodies, namely Board,
Secretariat, Supervisory and Statutory Committees were elected on competitive
basis.
The
following individuals were elected as MIAK Secretariat members and ex ofiicion Board
members: David Atanessian, Samson Hakobyan, Anoush Avanesyan, Karen Matevosyan,
and Levon Martirosyan.
Irina
Khaplanyan, Zarouhi Ohanyan, Sergey Tantoushyan, Mamikon Bostanjyan, Vahan
Haroutyunyan, Rouben Galstyan, and Gayane Avagyan, Levon Torosyan, Nune
Gabrielyan, and Valentina Gevorgyan were elected into MIAK Board.
Party`s
Supervisory and Statutory Committees were staffed with 5 and 3 members
correspondingly.
Right after
the Congress MIAK newly elected Board had its first session, during which
according to the order defined by MIAK Charter the members of Secretariat
elected MIAK Secretary General.Levon
Martirosyan was elected in this position for a one year term.
