Political and leadership skills development for MIAK members
It has been approximately
one month since MIAK started training courses aimed at building members
leadership and political skills. In various ways when becoming members of civil
society young people have to cope with social, political, local government and
public administration structures. They have to learn how to present themselves
in many situations in order to achieve positive results and communicate their
thoughts and ideas in a clear and understandable way.
This means evaluating situations
based on established criteria, constructing their speech, taking firm
decisions, being good team players, knowing communication rules, taking advantageous
positions in arguments, accepting and setting consensus conditions, etc. All
these issues become even more topical when political party members are
concerned.
The training aims to encourage
the more active and targeted involvement of MIAK members into the
civic/political processes by raising their self-consciousness in terms of being
members of society and if needed directly
participating in the life of the country and
state as well as helping acquire skills and knowledge peculiar to leaders.
Upon completion of the
training and based on the final test results the most active participants will
be awarded certificates.
