On March 27th 2010 MIAK opened a regional office in Ijevan. Those present at the opening ceremony were MIAK Secretary General Ara Hovsepyan, Tavush marzpet Armen Ghularyan, Tavush deputy marzpet and chairman of the Rule of Law Party marz structure Vahe Vardapetyan, MIAK Propaganda and Ideology Secretary Gerasim Barseghyan and a number of MIAK members and supporters. Marzpet Ghularyan expressed his willingness to cooperate with MIAK and mentioned important stages of MIAK activities which were particularly impressive and effective.

According to Tavush marzpet, MIAK conducts active and targeted activities not only in Ijevan but all over the marz. After the opening ceremony Gerasim Barseghyan conducted a propaganda and ideology seminar for Ijevan party members with which they were really impressed. One of the following questions was: ''What can we do as students and young people to ensure the development and progress of the party?'' Answering this question G. Barseghyan mentioned that their being disciplined, law-abiding and ready to act is already enough. G. Barseghyan also mentioned that ''The party development is not only a prerogative of those at the top. Irrespective of social standing everybody has the right to serve on an equal basis''.

 MIAK secretaries informed those present about the training aimed at raising MIAK members political knowledge, skill levels and party consciousness. At the end the members expressed readiness to be active and presented the resources they could contribute for the sake of achieving common goals.
