Following the initiative of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, the 20th anniversary of this historic event was celebrated in Yerevan.  Among the invitees was Naira Karapetyan, the MIAK PR Secretary.

At the beginning of the event the German political scientist Christine Blumauer presented the prehistory of the wall collapse and the political developments in Germany. Melanie Moltman the representative of the German Embassy in Armenia and Katia Christina Plate Head of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation regional programme on “Political Dialogue in South Caucasus”  shared their memories and personal impressions and answered  questions from the participants.

After the official presentation, everyone was welcomed to join a reception.  During  the reception the German colleagues were gladly answering more informal questions and  also discussing the new achievements in Armenian foreign policy and the results of the improvement in Armenia-Turkey relations in the context of global political achievements.
