This year's event, set to take place between August 20-24 in the resort town of Tsaghkadzor, is expected to bring together 350 young people from Armenia, Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh), Javakhk and the Diaspora.
The participants will be divided into teams representing the colors of the Armenian flag. They will take part in sports games, as well as in brain ring and cultural competitions. Meetings with Armenian officials, public and political figures are also on the agenda.
In three fronts 42 groups will compete. Young members of MIAK are also involved in the festival. MIAK's unit is included in the Orange front.
The closing ceremony is scheduled on August 24. A gala concert on Yerevan's Liberty Square will conclude the event. All the participants of "Baze 2011" will join the concert.
