"Baze 2010" Pan-Armenian Youth Gathering organized and implemented by All-Armenian youth fund in the period of August 23-28 of the current year came to its end.
Around 300 young people representing different marzes of Armenia and Yerevan, as well as Artsakh and Javakhk got together under one roof in the picturesque Tsakhkadzor resort. Even though the participation invitations were extended to the young people of 7 political parties, the representatives of only 5 parties were able to attend, namely, MIAK, Republican Party of Armenia, Prosperous Armenia, Rule of Law Party, and ARF Dashnaksutyun.
MIAK`s
unit returned with 3 gold medals and letters of commendations. The orange front
that included MIAK`s unit was recognized as a winner. By calculating the sum
total of the points gained during the various intellectual, artistic and sports
contests organized during the event, the orange color took the first place.
Nevertheless, the final stage is the unification of the color units, namely
red, blue and orange, which coming together represent the symbol of the
statehood Armenian flag.

Armen Ashotyan and other high level officials met with the participants of
“Baze 2010” Pan-Armenian Youth Gathering.
MIAK was represented by Amalya Balabekyan, Lidia and
Meline Givargizovas, Aramayis Sahakyan, Haik Aleksanyan, Karen Haroutyunyan and
unit head Vazgen Papikyan. According to Vazgen “MIAK`s unit was able to reach
all objectives by taking part in all contests, coming up as a unified force and
sparing no efforts to attain the victory.” MIAK participants of the gathering
view as an achievement the new friendships they were able to build during the
event.
