Levon Martirosyan Secretary
Levon Martirosyan was born on February 19th  1976 in Yerevan.

He graduated from the NelsonStepanyan  RussianSecondary School N 71.

In 1992-1997he studied at the Law Faculty of Yerevan State University.  

In 1997-1999he served in the Armenian armed forces.  


In 2000-2002 he studied inthe Law School of Essex University in the UK, from which he graduated withhonours receiving a Master’s degree in international law.   

In 2003 hean completed executive course on the “Leaders of the 21st Century”in the Kennedy School of Government, HarvardUniversity, U.S.A.

During hisstudent years he was involved in many public activities being a founder andmanager of a number of social youth organizations, including the YoungDemocrats Union, the Youth National Council of Armenia and the  British Alumni Association.  

At thesame time he was employed in  privatelegal work.  

InFebruary 2007 he participated in the founding of  the United Liberal National Party (MIAK) andwas elected as the MIAK Secretary General during the party’s founding congress. 

In July 2007he was appointed as an Assistant to the  Prime Minister.  

InDecember 2007 he resigned from the position of MIAK Secretary General at thesame time retaining the positions of a  MIAKBoard and Secretariat Member.  

FromApril 2008 he has been working as an Assistant to the Armenian President.  

He ismarried and  two sons.
